An example of this is our CBCT Orthophos XG 3D, an imaging unit which combines the advantages of 2D and 3D to produce extraordinary diagnostic capabilities. Extensive panoramic and cephalometric programs allow our dentists to use 2D diagnostic images that are augmented with 3D X-ray imaging. This 3D capability substantially increases diagnostic accuracy in all phases of dental treatment, from identifying micro-decay to preparation for dental implantation. When the CBCT XG 3D is used in combination with CEREC technology it offers tremendous possibilities in implantology.

This hybrid unit allows diagnostic x-rays to be captured using the lowest possible effective dose for the patient and the treatment option, providing added safety for our patients.
