Shenol qualified at the Eastman Dental Hospital in March 1992 and has worked as a hygienist in North Junior qualified at The Royal London Hospital and has worked as a hygienist at this practice for many years. He believes that continual learning is fundamental to staying in tune with current treatment options as well as working in conjunction to the prescription of the dentist.
Patient centred care is at the heart of his philosophy. The knowledge that a healthy and clean oral cavity will sustain simple and complex dental work for many years is fundamental. Yet he is aware that the work done as a hygienist constitutes only 20%, it’s the 80% of the patients’ home care that will have the greatest effect on oral health. To this end, Junior places huge emphasis on an effective oral health regime.
