Brushing and flossing regularly is the most important home dental care you can do to protect your teeth and gums. When you brush, hold the brush at a 45 degree angle to the teeth and move it in small circles. Clean all tooth surfaces – inside, outside, and top – and brush your tongue thoroughly as well. Spend at least 2 full minutes (more is better) brushing and brush at least twice a day.

Debris accumulates between the teeth. If not removed, bacteria will develop and plaque will form. Use the floss with a back and forth motion... and with a vertical action until all the plaque is removed. Work the floss gently under the gum.
